" *** Wow! What a way to celebrate our 25th Anniversary - completely alone in God's beautiful country, in this wonderful cabin! It exceeded all of our expectations! There is absolutely nowhere else on earth we would rather be! The Butlers of Arkansas ***It's so hard to leave this place. The sights, sounds and smells of the woods, the fireplace, the hills - so beautiful, so soothing. The cabin is a delight. The Harmons of Missouri *** My husband and I spent three days and nights at your cabin and it was the best vacation we have ever had. The Madewells of Oklahoma *** We had an incredible time - the weather was unbelievable! Thank you for sharing and bringing some much needed "togetherness" to our family. The Scheets Family of Texas *** What a great way to bring in the New Year! Lots of hiking, fishing, board games and laughing. The scenery, rock formations, elk... all incredible! And the local people are so friendly. The Jones Family of Louisiana. *** What a joy we had... lazing on the patio and looking up to the heavens... Wonderful Seclusion! The cabin was so welcoming and clean when we arrived. My son thinks this is the "coolest" place on earth. Thanks for providing the lodgings for a great family getaway. The Burns Family of Tennessee *** ...favorite feature... the porch. I enjoyed having the whip-poor-wills serenade me at night, to the glow of the fireflies, and join me for my first cup of coffee before dawn. My son... and his little brother learned to use slingshots, find fossils and explore and fish Cave Creek. It is my hope that they learn to love and respect areas and peoples like these. We couldn't bring ourselves to make pictures, preferring to take memories of wind in the trees, crows over the valley, water bubbling in the creek, tree covered bluffs, clean/cool air. The Fyffe Family of Texas *** What a wonderful hidden surprise at the end of an adventurous ride! The cabin, woods and creek were our own little private paradise for two beautiful days! The Erwin Family of Arkansas *** It has been a wonderful three days at Cave Creek Cabin. From the first day when a hummingbird buzzed around the kitchen window greeting us, to our last night of stargazing and marshmallow toasting, everything has been perfect. We have enjoyed the quiet seclusion and marvelled at the skill of the craftsmen who so lovingly restored this beautiful old cabin. We take with us warm memories of our stay here in the Ozarks. The Haddock Family of Tennessee *** Well, we are on our way out, so I wanted to say Thank You. You have a little "peace of heaven" here. The kids said this is the most fun they ever had. Even more fun than Six Flags over Texas! We really had a great time. The Donihoo Famiy of Texas *** This is truly a wonderful spot. A person could easily live to be a 100 here, so far removed from the hustle and bustle of the real world. The Cummings Family of Texas

Cave Creek Cabin sits on 125 acres of bluff and bottom land we call Harmony Acres, located on Cave Creek, adjacent to the Gene Rush Wildlife Management Area and 5 short miles to the Carver input on the Buffalo National River (nationally known for it's excellent canoeing and float trips). This 1840's dogtrot-style log cabin from Kentucky was recently moved to this secluded spot and lovingly restored and modernized for vacation fun and enjoyment of the Ozark mountain country found in Newton County, Arkansas.

"Large play, camping, and parking area behind cabin"

Our breathtaking view of Cave Creek and its beautiful limestone cliffs, make sitting on the porch or patio a delight. When you're ready for some activity, there is a swimming hole with a sandy beach on the creek, or you can fish the stream for small mouth bass and perch, (Arkansas licenses can be bought at Mt. Judea and Piercetown convenience stores). Hiking, cave exploring, mountain biking, and magnificent star gazing are available right on the property. The bird watching is great, and you may even be lucky enough to see a bald eagle at the right time of year.
